Moscow’s Culture Chief Serves as Costume Consultant on Nuremberg

The screenplay is based on the Alexander Zvyagintsev’s novel “Forever and Ever,” written by the jurist and historian who has devoted more than four decades to the study of the Nuremberg Trials.

MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Alexander Kibovsky, the head of Moscow’s Department of Culture, has acted as a costume consultant for two episodes of the forthcoming feature film Nuremberg, which is scheduled for release in autumn 2022.

The screenplay for Nuremberg draws on Zvyagintsev’s Forever and Ever. Post-production on the film began in August.

“This is a very serious and large-scale project. It involves a vast number of characters in military uniform, not only from our country, but also from abroad. The film includes the Soviet servicemen alongside British, American, French and German troops,” Kibovsky told TASS on Monday.

He added that he had previously taught the history of military costume at the Moscow Art Theatre School and had served as costume consultant on a dozen other films.
